Charity & Sponsorship
Briggs Defence sponsor a number of sports within the defence sector including rugby, netball and cycling. We are also heavily involved in supporting charities.
We have been the main sponsor of the Royal Logistics Corps (RLC) RUFC for 26 years. We are also the main sponsor of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) Cycling Association since 2017, and the Royal Logistics Corps Netball Association since 2019. Briggs offers financial support to the teams we sponsor as well as providing kit, banners, flags and marquees.
The Real Life Iron Man
The Real Life Iron Man Jamie Secker, General Manager at Briggs Defence, achieved not only a life-time goal but raised more than £4,100 in the process. A total of 311 Miles in 24 hours, with all monies raised being distributed to Great Ormond Street Hospital, Heart Link at Glenfield Hospital and The Kingfisher Ward & Community Team ay Grantham Hospital.
