Supply Chain Management And Delivery
Equipment down time is costly and Briggs Defence recognises the need to invest in strategic stock which is held at the Central Parts Warehouse in Cannock which distributes stock directly to specific locations, service vehicles or direct to customer sites.
The parts are despatched and delivered to either the engineer’s van or site location next day, enabling the engineer to complete the repair within 24hrs. Where parts are not held in the UK stock locations, Briggs Defence have developed extremely efficient links with principal parts suppliers and freight logistics partners for next day deliveries of urgent non stocked parts.
Briggs Defence are currently achieving 99.7% of a contracted 97% to-date for parts supply.
